Current research areas include marketing, wireless internet, decision making, communication and convergence of devices. Consumers, especially the young, are computer literate, wired and demanding, emerging technologies will change the way businesses communicate and develop relationships with consumers. Similarly consumers will change the information they require, when they require it and how they utlise it based on emerging technologies. This presents both opportunities and threats for all organisations that require relationships with 21st century consumers. Organisations that can understand how their marketing efforts should be tailored with the emergence of converged devices and wireless connectivity will develop advantages that pass other organisations by. The results of this work will be submitted as part of a PhD with Charles Sturt University in 2008.
